The Lantern Festival is celebrated on the 15th of the first month on the Chinese calendar. According to traditions, people decorate their households with colourful lanterns to welcome the very first full moon day. They also eat YuenXiao (Glutinous rice dumplings), have fun with fire crackers, riddles and leisure walk under the moon-lit skies.
